Sian Phillips Reads from Un nos ola Leuad

2014 was the year in which Wales Arts Review started the debate looking for the Greatest Welsh Novel, and on November 1st the winner was crowned: Caradog Prichard’s Un nos ola Leuad. Here, at the award celebration that formed the climax of the Roundtable day, legendary Welsh actress Sian Phillips gives a magnificent reading from the book, and Caradog’s daughter, Mari, gives a heartfelt and moving speech of thanks on behalf of her late father.

On November 1st 2014 Wales Arts Review held its second biennial Critics’ Roundtable event at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff.
