Performed by the Festival Players
Directed by Michael Dyer
The Festival Players bring together both of Shakespeare’s studies of a great king and include that loveable rogue Sir John Falstaff – all performed by their traditional all-male cast.
Preceding this performance we shall be entertained by the Allegra Ladies’ Choir.
Allegra Ladies’ Choir is a group of adult ladies who have come together with the joint purposes of discovering the joy of music, having fun, and assisting charitable causes.
Since forming in autumn 2011, the choir has flourished into a thriving, talented group of over 50 singers. They’re proud of their diverse membership base and welcome everyone, from complete beginners to experienced choristers. They have spent the last year honing their art as a choir, putting together a concert programme and gaining performance experience, and they are delighted to have raised more than £2,000 for charity in the process!
