It has always been one of Wales Arts Review’s core aims to celebrate writing from Wales, and we are excited to announce that we are launching a new book club to do just that.
The Wales Arts Review Book Club is entirely free and easy to take part in. As a member you will not only be part of a new book loving community, but will also be able to enjoy author interviews and literary articles every month.
We aim for the book club to be a friendly and engaging conversational space, and an exciting new way for you to discover more of Wales’ literary gems.
How to participate
- All book club announcements, news and discussions will take place on the Facebook page. To join in, simply like the page.
- New books are chosen by you – before the start of the month, we will put up a poll with a choice of three books (these might be new fiction releases or classic works by Welsh writers). Choose your favourite and the book with the most votes will be featured next.
- As book club members you will receive up to 25% off when you buy the Book of the Month direct from the publisher – we will share discount codes on the Facebook page.
- Questions and prompts will be posted regularly on the book club page to get you thinking – you are under no obligation to take part, but we hope you do. All our favourite comments will be published on Wales Arts Review at the end of the month.
- Spread the word across social media – Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, let’s get everyone involved.
