Wales Arts Review is very excited to announce our first special edition Print Issue to celebrate the Valley, City, Village project.
You can pre-order the magazine HERE.
The Valley, City, Village is a cross-cultural collaboration between Welsh and Indian writers, a partnership project between Parthian Books, Literature Wales, Wales Arts Review, and Kolkata-based Bee Books, and supported by The British Council and Wales Arts International as part of the 2017 India Wales fund.
In January, five Welsh writers travelled through India, culminating in a guest appearance at the Kolkata Literature Festival. As the second phase of this collaboration, five Indian writers will now spend three weeks experiencing Wales. You can catch up with everything that’s going on during the tour, which takes in several public events across Wales, including appearances at the Hay Festival and the Llansteffan Festival.
